Western Canada’s Biggest Volunteer Celebration!
Get ready for the biggest volunteer celebration in Western Canada—join us for a morning of fun, free food, and live entertainment!
Hosted by Captain Scott Legacy Society, this event brings together volunteers and community members to celebrate those who make a difference. Whether you’ve volunteered before or just want to meet new people and be inspired, we welcome you to come join the fun!

What to Expect
Live Entertainment – Featuring DJ Javo and Mako, a Japanese pop singer
Interactive Activities – Try our Virtual Reality station and capture memories at the photobooth
Meet Local Organizations – Connect with nonprofit and charity organizations across the Lower Mainland and learn about their impactful work
Great Food – Complimentary Moroccan, Persian, and Mexican finger food catered by Flavours of Hope, an organization dedicated to empowering refugee and newcomer women by helping them grow their food businesses
Door & Raffle Prizes – Multiple opportunities to win exciting prizes throughout the event!

FREE General Admission – Includes access to all activities and complimentary finger food (first come, first serve)
$6 Thunderbolts Movie Add-On – Celebrate Thunderbolts’ opening weekend on May 3 with a special 12:30 PM screening after the event! All proceeds will help us continue to support our volunteer initiatives

About the Community Care Adventure
The Community Care Adventure is an annual, six-week volunteer event series running from March 22 to May 3. This special initiative celebrates Volunteer Month with two events every week, supporting local causes through hands-on service like environmental cleanups and food drives.
