Repetitious Insecurity Opening Reception

ShowUp is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, Repetitious Insecurity, a solo exhibition of works by Persian-American painter, activist & 2025 Guggenheim Fellow, Maryam Safajoo. Repetitious Insecurity showcases narrative paintings are meticulous recreations of her interviews with victims of the Islamic Republic of Iran following the 1979 revolution.

Repetitious Insecurity will run from June 6th – July 20th, 2025. An opening reception will be held on Friday, June 6th, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm.
