Shahnaz Malekan M.D. (Psychiatrist)

Dr. Malekan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) before pursuing graduate studies at the UCLA School of Public Health.
Her clinical research career led her to collaborate with Dr. Bessel Van Der Kolk at the Boston Trauma Center at the University of Massachusetts, where they investigated the effects of SSRIs on PTSD.
